Nostalgia: An Aesthetic Experiment of the 50s Pop Art
The Nostalgic City An aesthetic experiment of the 50s Pop Art. One year since I produced one of my favorite personal artworks. "Nostalgia" artwork is an experimentation of the reflection of the city Beirut upon the motion of time. The bridge (Charles El Helou) recalls the flourishing of the city, the calligraphy represents the liberal state of expression of its people and the red color is a retro interface. I used Adobe Photoshop to create this artwork. The illustration in the poster is based on a photo I took of Charles el Helou Bridge in January 2021. I modified the photo using the smart filters of Photoshop to recreate the 50s pop art vibes.
